Every day at noon our congregation is saying this breakthrough prayer because we want God to breakthrough at Mt. Gilead and do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine:

Dear Lord, please do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to your power that is at work within us, in Mt. Gilead. Your will be done. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Here are some of the things our congregation has noticed while we’ve been praying the breakthrough prayer:

An increase in excitement and expectancy of God moving in our congregation.
How others who had not talked that much in the past are making very significant efforts to talk to everyone.
How the people of Mt. Gilead are loving and hospitable.
After starting to attend Mt. Gilead, one person began asking God for signs and noticed either “Jesus loves you” or “God loves you” on three separate days in three different restaurants in different cities. He is still discerning what it might mean but knows God is using Mt. Gilead in his life!

On person said, “Mt. Gilead is having significance in my life. I feel closer to the Lord now than I have in years.”
We prayed around the church building both outside of the church service and during the church service. We can’t wait to see what God does.

Another person said, “I am so very excited to see what is God's plan for Mt. Gilead! This church is coming to life! I feel it, and I see it! Today's service was so wonderful!!
Great interaction at VBS with children and adults. It was exciting to see everyone working together to accomplish our goal: Sharing Christ and loving on each other.
God moved in the hearts and minds of our teens and children over the last few weeks at VBS.
Four baptisms and a baptism remembrance as well as new members joining on 8/31.
Student ministry starting!
I’m so excited for the new student ministry! Great things are happening at Mt Gilead starting with our youth!
I felt the presence of God at Mt.Gilead on baptism Sunday. It was very powerful.
