Be the Church Sunday
We’ll be partnering with Canton First Methodist Church on October 19th to Be the Church that Sunday and serve the community. We’ll join in a short worship service and communion at Canton First at 9:30 then go out to serve the community in various projects. We’ll also have a short worship service at 11 am at Mt. Gilead with some service projects to do around Mt. Gilead. If you have something you would like done, we would love to help you. Please fill out this form if you would like us to consider a project for Be The Church Sunday.

Come join us on the second Saturday of the month to do work around the church both inside and out. There’s something for everyone to do!
First Sunday Lunch
On the first Sunday of the month, join us for lunch after the service. We’ll have a sign-up sheet prior to that Sunday so you can sign up for what to bring.
Assemble Flood Buckets
The Disaster Response Team of Canton First Methodist has invited us to help assemble flood buckets to be distributed to people affected by hurricanes, floods, and other types of natural disasters.
Registration is open through August 21.

Mission/Vision Session
In order to know where we’re going, we need to have a plan. The first step of that plan is to set Mt. Gilead’s mission and vision. Starting in April, Rev. Dr. Kenny Ott from Canton First Methodist is donating his time to help us do that. There will be five total sessions from 9 am - 3 pm at Canton First Methodist Church. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Dates are: 4/12, 5/17, 6/28, 7/12. A fifth date is to be determined. All are invited to attend. Please let Debbie know if you will be there and have not done so.
