Help Us Decorate for the Fall Festival!
Church Members: We need to borrow some of your outdoor Fall Decor for the Festival. Please do not bring anything that cannot get wet (only God controls the rain), or anything that would cause you to be upset if it got broken (kids-enough said). This is a fall festival, so no Halloween decor, but pumpkins and Jack-o-Lanterns are great. Think Pumpkins, Scarecrows, Sunflowers, Leaves, Squirrels and acorns; anything Fall.
*Please put a piece of tape with your name on it on the back or bottom of any items you let us borrow so we know who to return them to.
Pop-Up Canopies
Large metal wash tubs
Pumpkins-Wood, ceramic, plastic (no glass please)
Outdoor Fall Decor - Signs, metal stakes, etc
Old fashioned Metal Milk Jugs
A Wheel Barrow (kid sized would be great, but regular sized would be good too)
Date Needed By: Sunday, October 11th.
You can start bringing these items on Sunday October 4th
DONATIONS:
We would also like members to bring two items to be donated for the Fall Festival if you are able and willing. Bring one or a dozen, whatever fits your budget.
Pumpkins. Real ones. Any size, shape, or color. Smooth or warty ones, mini ones, ornamental gourds, all are much appreciated.
Mums. Again, real ones. Any color or size. We want them to bloom around the 18th, so if you buy early get ones that have completely closed up blooms so they will hopefully hold out a little while.
*If you bring a mum or pumpkin that you would like to have back, just put your name on the bottom and you can certainly have it back. We would love to display your pumpkin at the festival and then you take it home and carve it! Or you can donate it and we will find good homes for them.
Date Needed By: Sunday October 4th.
As you bring these in, just line them all up on the front porch please.
